With warmer weather and more rain than snow, I find this time of year somewhat uninspiring for photography. Gone is the pristine whiteness of a cold winter day and the reemergence of spring colors in the landscape is still a few weeks away.

Yes, there is such a thing as snirt - give it a Google and you'll see that it's snow plus dirt. On a positive note, you can have the beach more of less to yourself and enjoy the solitude.
