Outlander sensation Nell Hudson, who excitedly revealed on 7th March that she's expecting her first child, has delighted fans with a pregnancy update.

The actress, known for her role as Laoghaire MacKenzie in the hit series, took to Instagram with a charming reel showcasing her '5 months pregnant fit check'.

In the video, Nell flaunts an array of maternity ensembles, reflecting her effortlessly stylish flair.

Her caption pondered: "What do we think about belly out with the suit?? (Last outfit) I love when I see other pregnant women do this but not sure it's for me.

"As my body changes with pregnancy I've really enjoyed leaning into loose, baggy fit clothing (ok tbh baggy clothes is my go-to most of the time even before I was expecting) But I'm aware I can quickly appear quite messy and this isn't always the most flattering choice." (sic)

She then detailed each item of clothing and acknowledged the brands featured in her video.

Eliza Butterworth, renowned for her lead role in Netflix's The Last Kingdom, responded to Nell's post with heartfelt enthusiasm, reports the Scottish Daily Express.

Eliza couldn't contain her joy, commenting: "CONGRATULATIONS NEEEELLLLLLL!!!!!! oh my goodness gorgeous Mama this is the best news of all time!!!!! The biggest congratulations to youuuuu stunner!!!! Sending you and your baby angel the most humungous love!!!" (sic)

Numerous admirers of the actress voiced their approval on her fashionable pregnancy post, with one exclaiming: "I love how much fun you're having with your choices!" While another expressed: "Oh Nell, you look fabulous, wear it well sweetie."

A charmed fan commented: "Well aren't you the most adorable little pregnant person."

Another offered some motherly advice: "Whatever you are comfortable with, although open seems to be an invitation for random strangers to come up and touch. Drink lots of water to avoid problems. You are amazing."

The English starlet created quite the buzz earlier in the month when she shared a cheerful snapshot, lovingly holding her baby bump.

"Hello it's been a while, very happy to share some big news! I'm pregnant," she announced on social media, accompanied by a series of heart emojis.

Nell is eagerly awaiting her first child with fiancé, film producer Maximillian King, to whom she got engaged in Paris last year. Following their magical trip, the Outlander star shared a snapshot flaunting her engagement ring with the jubilant declaration: "Oh sorry actually just one more from Paris - WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!" (sic).

In the popular series Outlander, Nell portrays Laoghaire, who is infamously recognised as Jamie Fraser's (played by Sam Heughan) second wife and consistently causes turmoil for him and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe), resurfacing in the recent episodes of season seven.

Beyond her acting pursuits, Nell is also a recognised author, having released her debut novel, Just For Today, in 2022. As per her Instagram updates, the book is set to be transformed into a TV series. Additionally, she's a qualified yoga teacher and provided virtual classes during the Covid crisis.
