Donald Trump has shared footage of a devastating strike on Houthi Rebels in Yemen, alongside a mocking comment. Footage shows the moment a US strike wiped out the Houthi soldiers as they were reportedly preparing to fight.

The US President posted the video of the attack on Truth Social, adding: "These Houthis gathered for instructions on an attack. Oops, there will be no attack by these Houthis! They will never sink our ships again!" The Houthi soldiers were seen gathering in a circle before the explosive strike took them out.

The Yemeni terror group has been responsible for numerous attacks on shipping in the Red Sea over the last year. They said the attacks were carried out in opposition to Israel's ongoing military action in Gaza, a campaign launched to eliminate Hamas after the group's violent October 7 2023 attack.

The Houthis have historically received funding and support from Iran. However, Iranian forces have now left Yemen and abandoned the Houthis amid the US' continued strikes.

Mr Trump warned Iran that its regime will be held responsible for "every shot" fired by the Houthis.

The US President also warned Iran to sign a new nuclear deal or face bombing "like never before."

He said: "If they don't make a deal, there will be bombing.

"It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before."

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, said the US would "receive a strong reciprocal blow" if Tehran was to come under attack.

The rhetorical clashes between Iran and the US have sparked fears of a new conflict in the Middle East.

This week, French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot warned that "military confrontation would appear to be almost inevitable" if a new nuclear deal with Iran is not reached.

He added: "Iran must never acquire nuclear weapons.

"Our priority is to reach an agreement that verifiably and durably constrains the Iranian nuclear programme."
