Next’s summer collection has arrived just in time for warmer days and has already proven popular with fashion fans. One stand-out piece from the collection caught our attention, and it would be great for sunny days in the UK and abroad. The Off-White and Blue Stripe Flutter Tiered Midi Dress has gained praise.

The dress costs £49 and has only recently been added to the website, meaning it’s still in stock in most sizes. However, it also has received multiple positive reviews, so it might be one heading towards selling out. 

Tiered designs like this one are often flattering, as the fabric skims over your body, and vertical stripes create a lengthening effect. The wide, stretchy waistband is comfortable and should pull in your mid-section to enhance your waist before flowing out into the floaty skirt. The fluttery sleeves add to the bohemian look and are also airy for staying cool in hot weather.

One of our favourite things about the dress is how versatile it is. It could easily be worn for days out in the UK, evenings on holiday, or even as a bikini cover-up. Wear it with white trainers for a casual look, or dress it up with heeled sandals. The neckline is adjustable. A tie is attached, which can be left undone for a relaxed look or tied up for a higher neckline.

Next is known for its vast size range, and the dress comes in sizes six to 26, although some are starting to sell out already. There’s also a tall option, but unfortunately, it doesn’t come in a petite version at the moment.

The new addition is already picking up compliments from shoppers, with one saying: ''I have only tried it on and not worn it yet, but I was very pleased with the flattering fit. It has a small amount of shirred [elastic] around the waist, which, for me, made the dress really comfortable. It has a tie neck but I preferred it left undone. My husband and daughter immediately said I looked nice without me having to ask! A perfect dress for a spring or summer day, I think I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it this year.'' [SIC]

Another shopper added their feedback on the Next dress, saying: ''Lovely dress and perfect for summer events. The material will help to keep you cool, and it’s pretty for festivals and days on the beach.''
