TV presenter Danni Menzies is best recognised for her vital role in Channel 4’s house-hunting reality show, A Place in the Sun. After joining as a property expert in 2016, the Scottish beauty decided to step down from the show in 2022 but continued to appear on screens through pre-recorded episodes.

Although Danni can still often be seen helping guests find their dream property in the sun, the star is now venturing deeper into the growing world of podcasting. Addressing her Instagram followers, Danni shared the exciting news and revealed the first episode would be landing this week. Alongside her co-host, Alex Serruys, the duo front Date. Delete. Repeat, which has been billed as an "unfiltered dating and relationship podcast hosted by besties."

The friends will discuss all things relationships, and while Danni is widely known on screens, Alex is a content creator who boasts 75,000 followers.

Fans quickly took to the comments with excitement for the presenter’s new venture, as one penned: “I KNOW this is going to be good!” Another person anticipated: “Can’t wait to hear this!! It’s going to be hilarious.” “Let’s go!! Exciting stuff,” shared a third user, as another eager follower added: “So exciting I can’t wait to listen.”

This marks an expansion of Danni’s podcasting journey, as she was previously part of a star-studded podcast in partnership with The Health Lottery.

It included conversations with different celebrities, including Loose Women’s Kaye Adams, acclaimed filmmaker and photographer Doug Allan, Michelin-starred chef Andy Beynon, and renowned author Chris Brookmyre.

After 20 episodes of the Paying it Forward podcast, she shared: “Had such a fun few days hosting the new Paying It Forward Pod. Got to chat with so many fab people. Coming soon. Thanks for having me.”
