A man who had reportedly been armed with a machete has been beaten to death by men with baseball bats in a Berlin district in Germany.
The deadly dispute happened in Reinickendorf, with the victim starting a fight with a craftsman and even threatening him with a machete, according to the German national newspaper BILD. On Wednesday at 8.07am, emergency services were called to the scene of a seriously injured person on Walliser Straß. Despite their best efforts to save the victim he succumbed to his injuries. Police cordoned off the crime scene, with investigators questioning possible witnesses. A murder squad was also alerted.
