Stacey Solomon fans who have tuned in to watch her brand new reality TV show will have noticed that her mum doesn't appear during any episodes. The former X Factor star, who features in her BBC show Stacey and Joe, shares a blended family and focuses on the family's residence at Pickle Cottage. Stacey gave birth to her first child when she was just 17 and welcomed her fifth child in February 2023. She has been married to Joe Swash since 2022 and is mum to five children: Zach, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle. In her Pickle Cottage home, she also owns two dogs named Teddy and Peanut and four ducks, who are all featured in her TV show.

However, one notable figure who appears to be absent is Stacey's mother, Fiona. According to Mail Online, this is because Fiona prefers to stay out of the spotlight and likes to keep to herself.

Although she made one appearance on Loose Women in 2017, Stacey doesn't share many details about her mum online.

On the ITV panel show, Fiona fretted over her daughter's teen pregnancy, admitting: "I got to a stage where I thought, 'What have I done, I must have been a terrible mother'. It wasn't just Stacey, I have another daughter. Both my girls went through teenage years, it really was… tearaways. Stacey was the one who always got into trouble and always got caught. She bunked off school and got detention."

In other news, Stacey has announced that she is the proud mother of baby chicks. Uploading the sweet footage on Instagram, she wrote, "New life at pickle cottage. Honestly, this has been the most special, core memory-building day. Our chicks have started to hatch. It’s like watching real-life magic, and I’m so glad we decided to do this. What a special day. Four chicks and counting. Come on, babies. Happy Tuesday, Everyone… I hope this brightens up your day. Thank you, @sams_growingfood, for helping us every single step of the way…"

In the first video, two baby chicks walk for the first time as they emerge from their eggshells. Stacey then smiles alongside her two youngest daughters and embraces them as they watch the eggs hatch.

Her loyal followers flocked to the comments section to react to the happy news. One person said, "This is so exciting! Welcome to pickle cottage chicks!"
